Itinerary
Pick up in the morning 07:00 Am by our guide for briefing after which you are driven north to Samburu on the south bank of the Ewaso Nyiro River, downriver from Archer’s Post to Samburu game reserve north of the Equator.
Some of the animals and vegetation are a little different from those commonly found south. Take a few minutes relaxing and there after proceed for the evening game drive which will bring you to the elephant bedroom tower.
The reserve is rich in wildlife with an abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Gravy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa Oryx (also referred to as Samburu Special Five).
After breakfast, morning and afternoon game drive exploring this amazing game reserve, it gives you the refreshment of your mind as the park is not populated and not many people visit here.

The game reserve is renowned for its rare species of animals unique to the park namely the long-necked gerenuk, Gravy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and Beisa onyx.
Birdlife is as plentiful as wildlife at Samburu National Reserve which boasts over 350 different species of birds including vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches and others.
Return to the camp or Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Olpejeta sanctuary to arrive at the camp for lunch and afternoon game drive with the combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 364sq km wildlife conservancy situated between the foothills of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare and its game-to-area ratio tops the Kenyan park and reserve league.
The Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya has over 10000 large mammals and it is the only park where the big 5 and chimpanzees can be seen. It is also where the fastest growing population of rhino in Africa can be found.
After breakfast, have a morning game drive where you will search for a shy cat (the leopard) and other plain game before returning to Nairobi.
